It’s actually quite hard to shoot in water when you can’t touch the bottom. And who knew wet suits make you buoyant? Who knew underwater housing units float? Put those two together and forget trying to stay upright in the water. Dean and I were turning all over the place, upside down, backwards, feet over our heads…it was quite the scene 🤣. I decided to bring in the paddle boards which literally saved the shots. And actually the use of life vests helped keep my feet up and parallel, even though I looked completely ridiculous.
Tried doing a little directing in the water too, but Sam needed little to no direction. He was a natural. It was a fun shoot to say the least.
